Tour de Cure - COVID Safe Practices

Tour de Cure’s highest priority has and always will be the health and safety of our guest, volunteers and staff.

For the past 15 years, Tour de Cure has implemented safe operational protocols across all tours and events and appointed an Audit and Risk Committee to identify any safety or medical risk and compliance requirement.

These are unprecedented times and as a cancer charity, it is important that every effort is being taken to protect the safety and wellbeing of our community. Tour de Cure has introduced a range of enhanced measures across our gala events to safeguard the wellbeing of our guests, volunteers, and staff. These are considered an entry requirement to attend our events.

Guest registration: All guests and table hosts must provide their guests name and at least one contact method for tracking purposes.

Limited Capacity: We have limited our tables in the room and ensured adequate spacing between tables to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Elevated hygiene measures: Tour de Cure is working with the venues of our gala events to ensure an enhanced cleaning program, disinfectant of all high-touch areas and ample access to disinfectant sanitiser throughout the night including on every table and bar.

Face coverings: If any guest is uncomfortable and cannot maintain a safe distance from others, they are encouraged to wear a mask.

Vaccination status: All guests regardless of vaccination status will be able to attend Tour de Cure gala events in line with the latest NSW Public Health Advice.

COVID Rapid Testing: All guests are encouraged to complete a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on the day of the event.

We Thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to our events soon.

It’s really important you don’t attend an event if you are feeling unwell on the day of the event or are waiting on COVID test results.
